We are seeking a dependable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Shop Hand / Window Tint Apprentice to join our automotive team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who has a genuine passion for cars and wants to learn the window tinting and vehicle-restyling industry.

The ideal candidate must be punctual, morally sound, respectful, and comfortable interacting with customers. No professional window tinting experience is required, but the candidate must be willing to learn, follow instructions, accept constructive feedback, and take pride in producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced window tint installers with vehicle preparation and installation.
• Learn how to properly install and remove automotive window film.
• Clean vehicle windows, interiors, and work areas before and after installations.
• Move, park, and organize customer vehicles carefully and responsibly.
• Inspect completed work for cleanliness, quality, and installation issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment.
• Properly handle tools, tinting equipment, materials, and customer property.
• Assist with basic vehicle detailing and shop maintenance.
• Greet customers professionally and provide friendly customer service.
• Communicate clearly with managers, installers, coworkers, and customers.
• Follow all shop procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Arrive on time and remain dependable throughout the scheduled shift.
• Learn about different window films, vehicle types, electronics, and ADAS systems.
• Complete assigned work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Help the team meet daily installation and customer-service goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No window tinting experience required; training will be provided.
• Must be trustworthy, honest, punctual, and dependable.
• Must demonstrate strong moral character and respect for customers, coworkers, vehicles, and company property.
• Must have a genuine passion for cars and an interest in the automotive industry.
• Friendly personality with strong communication and people skills.
• Willingness to learn and accept coaching from experienced installers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and shop equipment.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to safely lift and move tools, materials, and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.50 per hour
