Shop Helper/Facilities Maintenance

About the Position

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Shop Helper / Facilities Maintenance person to join our suspension manufacturing shop.

This is a hands-on position with a variety of responsibilities. The right person will help keep our shop, equipment, and facilities clean, organized, safe, and operating smoothly. You'll assist with general shop tasks, facility maintenance, material handling, cleanup, and whatever else is needed to keep the business running efficiently.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs around the shop and facilities
• Keep the shop, work areas, storage areas, and grounds clean and organized
• Assist with general shop and manufacturing tasks
• Move, load, unload, and organize materials, parts, and equipment
• Use basic hand and power tools
• Help maintain and organize tools, equipment, and supplies
• Perform basic building maintenance, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and repairs
• Assist with equipment setup, cleanup, and general upkeep
• Handle trash, recycling, and shop cleanup
• Help maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Identify maintenance or repair issues and bring them to management's attention
• Assist other team members with projects and day-to-day needs
• Perform other general duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous shop, maintenance, construction, manufacturing, or general labor experience is a plus
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools
• Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot basic problems
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to follow instructions and work independently
• Willing to learn new skills
• Good attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to perform physical work, including lifting and moving materials
• Valid driver's license is a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
