Shop Lead Man

Overview

The Shop Lean Man is expected to lead by example, accurately understand and document incoming work, coordinate multiple projects, delegate assignments appropriately, monitor production timelines, and communicate effectively with both employees and customers.

We are seeking an experienced CNC Shop Lead to oversee daily shop operations, coordinate multiple projects, and provide technical and leadership support to our machining team.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on CNC machine programming experience.
• Strong CNC machining, setup, troubleshooting, and blueprint-reading skills.
• Ability to accurately receive and document job requirements.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate multiple jobs while working within production time frames.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Professional communication skills with employees, management, and customers.
• Ability to lead, organize, problem-solve, and work independently.
• Oilfield machining experience preferred; strong CNC manufacturing experience in other industries will be seriously considered.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime and participate in or assist with overnight/on-call rotations as needed.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping ensure jobs are properly documented, scheduled, delegated, completed accurately, and delivered within expected time frames.

All candidates will be subject to an evaluation period. Compensation within the $30–$40/hour range will be based on experience, technical ability, leadership skills, and demonstrated performance.
