Shop/Inventory Manager

Diamondback Mechanical Group is looking for a full-time Shop/Inventory Manager. The Shop/Inventory manager maintains accurate stock levels, handles vendor purchase orders, stages morning jobs, and keeps the shop and warehouse organized. This position helps keep our service and installation teams productive. You will help make sure technicians have the correct parts and materials, purchase orders are properly tracked, inventory stays accurate, and the shop remains organized for daily operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inventory Control – monitor stock levels, run routine cycle counts, track items using service software
• Purchasing & Receiving – create, track, receive, and reconcile purchase orders with supply houses. Receive deliveries and verify materials against purchase orders.
• Job staging – organize and stage parts/equipment to ensure install team leaves on time each morning
• Shop organization – establish clear labeling, minimum stock levels, maintain a clean, safe working environment
• Make local supply house runs for parts and materials needed for active jobs

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm; Approximately 40+ hours/week

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50lbs
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of inventory accuracy
• Basic computer and data-entry skills
• Ability to operate basic warehouse and shop equipment; including forklift

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• 1+ years in warehouse management, inventory control, or parts counter PREFERRED.
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment/fittings and proficiency in inventory software.
