Role Description The Shop Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Maple Grove, MN, responsible for overseeing daily shop operations and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role includes managing staff schedules, supporting barbers and stylists, and maintaining service standards and cleanliness throughout the shop. The Shop Manager monitors sales performance, promotes services and Floyd’s haircare products, and assists with local marketing initiatives to drive client traffic and retention. Additional responsibilities include handling inventory, addressing guest feedback, ensuring adherence to company policies, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.

• Operational leadership skills, including staff supervision, scheduling, and daily shop management.
• Customer service and client relationship skills to provide a welcoming, professional, and inclusive experience.
• Basic business and retail skills, such as sales tracking, product promotion, and inventory management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and address client needs.
• Experience in barbershop, salon, or beauty industry environments is preferred; prior management or supervisory experience is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site, stand for extended periods, and support a fast-paced, service-oriented setting.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and hygiene standards relevant to personal care services.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in cosmetology, barbering, or business management is a plus.
