Shop Operator / Graphic Designer

Dash Print Co. is seeking an experienced graphic designer to prepare artwork and produce high-quality printed products. The ideal candidate is confident using Adobe Creative Cloud, understands how to prepare files for print, and pays close attention to detail.
Experience working in a sign or print shop is a plus. Candidates without shop experience must have strong graphic design skills and be willing to learn our production processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and prepare customer artwork for printing.
• Use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to design and modify graphics.
• Check file size, resolution, color mode, layout, and other print requirements.
• Make color corrections and prepare artwork to produce consistent print results.
• Print DTF transfers, stickers, banners, and other shop orders.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy, print quality, and defects.
• Organize finished orders and prepare them for pickup or delivery.
• Maintain and clean production equipment according to shop procedures.
• Keep the production area clean, safe, and organized.
• Communicate clearly with team members about order status, file issues, and production delays.
• Manage assigned work to meet deadlines and Dash Print Co.’s quality standards.

Qualifications

• Professional graphic design experience; a portfolio or work samples are required.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Understanding of print file preparation, color correction, resolution, and color modes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and meet deadlines.
• Clear communication and a dependable, team-focused approach.
• Sign shop, print shop, or production experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with printers, cutting equipment, or finishing processes is a plus.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:00 AM–4:00 PM

Pay: $18–$20 per hour

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
