Shop Support

The focus of Shop Support is to improve workflow, clean parts, and other duties as assigned to support the shop.

Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, clean, scrape, paint and reassemble electric motors, parts and other industrial equipment.
• Cleans parts of all foreign materials using bead blaster, steam cleaners, power washers, or solvent tank to prepare for repairs.
• Understand shop flow and ability to track labor time and materials accurately.
• Inspect various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment for damage and evidence of malfunctions.
• Learn from mechanics and service technicians to grow knowledge of electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes to safely move equipment and materials.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Coordinates component flow within the shop.
• All other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift and push 50 pounds.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work safely in a shop environment.
• Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
