Shopify Developer

JPRecruits is hiring a Shopify Developer on behalf of our client, Dr Mark Leong Team, a growing health and wellness business supporting women over 40 across Asia and beyond.

We’re looking for someone with 2–4 years of Shopify or e-commerce development experience who can build and improve website pages, troubleshoot technical issues, and keep online stores running smoothly. If you’re comfortable working with Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, apps, and integrations, we’d like to hear from you.

About the role

You’ll maintain and improve the company’s Shopify e-commerce websites, supporting online sales, marketing campaigns, and the customer shopping experience. Working with internal teams and reporting to the Client Growth Director, you’ll turn business needs into reliable website updates and resolve routine technical issues independently.

What you’ll do

• Manage, maintain, and improve Shopify e-commerce websites.
• Build and update landing pages, product pages, and website sections using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Investigate and fix website bugs, broken functionality, and other technical issues.
• Install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot Shopify apps.
• Support integrations between Shopify and third-party platforms.
• Improve website performance, usability, and the overall customer experience.
• Deliver website updates for marketing campaigns, promotions, and online sales activities.
• Monitor websites, identify opportunities for improvement, and proactively address issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver website and e-commerce projects on time.

What we’re looking for

• 2–4 years of relevant Shopify or e-commerce development experience, including hands-on work with Shopify.
• Working knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting Shopify apps and third-party integrations.
• Ability to investigate technical problems, identify their causes, and implement practical solutions.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Clear communication skills and confidence explaining technical issues to nontechnical colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to website maintenance.
• A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, Software Engineering, E-commerce, or a related field. Equivalent relevant Shopify development experience will also be considered.

Why this opportunity

• Take ownership of hands-on Shopify development and ongoing website improvements.
• Work closely with growth and internal teams on projects that support online sales.
• See the impact of your work through better website performance and customer experience.
• Contribute to a business focused on helping women build healthier, stronger, and more confident lives.

Apply through Indeed with your updated CV and examples of Shopify websites or projects you’ve worked on.

For each example, briefly explain your contribution—such as Liquid development, page builds, app integrations, troubleshooting, or performance improvements. We want to understand what you personally built, fixed, or improved.
