Shopify Developer

We are a growing online retailer selling handcrafted Damascus knives, outdoor gear, leather hats and accessories. We’re looking for a hands-on Shopify expert to run our online store day to day and grow sales through smart product marketing.

What You’ll Do

Store operations

• Manage our Shopify store end to end, including products, collections, pricing, inventory, discounts and checkout settings
• Write and optimize product listings with clear titles, descriptions, SEO metadata, and well-organized photos and variants
• Keep the theme, navigation and landing pages updated, and make basic edits in Liquid, HTML and CSS
• Set up and manage Shopify apps for reviews, email, upsells, shipping, subscriptions and similar functions
• Oversee order processing, fulfillment, shipping settings, returns and customer service workflows
• Track inventory and work with suppliers to avoid stock-outs on best sellers

Product marketing and growth

• Plan and run paid campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Shopping and Search, and TikTok
• Build email and SMS flows in Klaviyo or Shopify Email, including welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase and win-back flows
• Launch new products with promotions, bundles and seasonal campaigns
• Manage Google Merchant Center and product feeds, and sell on additional channels such as Amazon, eBay, Etsy or TikTok Shop where they fit
• Improve conversion through A/B testing, page speed, product page layout and trust signals
• Grow organic traffic through SEO, blog content and social media
• Coordinate product photography and short-form video for ads and listings

Reporting

• Track KPIs including sales, conversion rate, average order value, return on ad spend, customer acquisition cost and repeat purchase rate
• Report results weekly and recommend what to do next

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years running or managing a Shopify store, with results you can show
• Proven experience with paid social and Google Ads, including managing budgets and improving return on ad spend
• Strong knowledge of Shopify admin, apps and theme customization
• Experience with Klaviyo or similar email/SMS platforms
• Comfort with Google Analytics 4, Shopify Analytics and ad platform reporting
• Strong writing skills for product copy, ads and emails
• Organized and self-directed, able to manage several priorities with little supervision

Nice to Have

• Experience selling knives, outdoor gear, apparel or accessories
• Experience with Amazon Seller Central or marketplace channels
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop) or video editing
• Experience with influencer or affiliate programs
• Shopify Plus experience

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Work Location: Remote
