Outdoor Decor Store is an established, family-owned and operated outdoor furniture retailer with three showroom locations in Naples, Florida. We offer an extensive selection of quality outdoor furniture from some of the industry's leading manufacturers.

As we expand our business with the launch of a new nationwide Shopify e-commerce website, we are seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated individual to manage the daily operations of our online store while supporting our existing retail business.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Shopify E-Commerce Specialist with professional, hands-on experience managing and maintaining an online retail website.

The primary focus of this position will be the day-to-day management of our Shopify e-commerce platform, including product management, inventory accuracy, online orders, customer communication, and website performance.

The ideal candidate will already be proficient in Shopify and understand the operational requirements of running an e-commerce business.

This position will also assist with administrative responsibilities within our retail operations as needed.

This is primarily an e-commerce management position, not a website development or general administrative position.

Primary Responsibilities – Shopify & E-Commerce

• Manage and maintain our Shopify e-commerce website.
• Create, update, and optimize online product listings, including descriptions, images, product specifications, variants, pricing, and collections.
• Organize website navigation, product categories, and featured merchandise.
• Maintain accurate online inventory by coordinating with our showrooms and warehouses.
• Monitor and process online orders, customer inquiries, returns, and order updates.
• Coordinate nationwide shipping, freight delivery information, and order fulfillment.
• Manage website promotions, discounts, and featured product selections.
• Review Shopify Analytics, website traffic, sales performance, and conversion rates.
• Identify and resolve routine website issues or coordinate with our website development team when necessary.
• Work with our existing SEO specialists and digital marketing partners to improve online visibility and sales.
• Recommend improvements to the website's functionality, merchandising, and customer shopping experience.

Online Store Operations & Weekend Coverage

Our e-commerce website will accept orders 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Shopify E-Commerce Specialist will help establish and maintain procedures to ensure customers receive appropriate support outside normal business hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Configure and maintain automated order confirmations, customer notifications, and inquiry acknowledgments.
• Help establish automated responses for common customer questions regarding products, shipping, delivery, and order status.
• Coordinate with designated showroom personnel to provide customer assistance on weekends when needed.
• Ensure weekend orders and inquiries are organized for timely follow-up during the next business day.
• Establish escalation procedures for urgent online order issues or website problems.
• Review and prioritize weekend activity upon returning to work on Monday.
• Monitor customer-service trends and recommend improvements to weekend support procedures.

This is a Monday–Friday position. Routine weekend work is not required. Weekend customer support will be handled through automated systems and designated showroom personnel.

Secondary Responsibilities – Administrative Support

• Assist with purchase orders, vendor communications, and order tracking.
• Maintain inventory records and product information.
• Perform data entry and update Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and internal reports.
• Assist with customer communications and order follow-up.
• Provide general administrative support to management as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Professional, hands-on experience working within Shopify and managing e-commerce website operations.
• Experience creating and maintaining Shopify product listings, collections, pricing, and inventory.
• Experience processing and managing online orders through Shopify.
• Understanding of e-commerce customer service, order fulfillment, and website operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general business software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and solve problems.
• Comfortable working with showroom, warehouse, and management personnel.

Preferred Additional Experience

• Shopify Analytics and e-commerce reporting.
• Search engine optimization (SEO) and product listing optimization.
• Google Merchant Center, Google Shopping, or digital marketing platforms.
• Inventory management software, particularly Fishbowl.
• Shopify Inbox or other e-commerce customer-service tools.
• Nationwide shipping, freight coordination, or large-item fulfillment.
• Furniture, home furnishings, or retail industry experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Outdoor Decor Store offers a compensation and employee benefits package that includes:

• Starting compensation of $19–$22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule, approximately 40 hours per week.
• 401(k) retirement plan with company matching after one year of service, subject to plan eligibility requirements.

Work Schedule & Location

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Naples, Florida.

The selected candidate will work directly with our team to become familiar with our products, inventory systems, showroom operations, and fulfillment procedures.

The normal schedule will be Monday through Friday. Weekend online ordering and customer inquiries will be supported through automation and coordination with existing showroom personnel.
