We're building Shopify Technical Leads to support active and incoming client engagements. If you have a solid background in Shopify Plus development and technical leadership across both B2B and B2C commerce, we want to hear from you.

WHAT THE WORK LOOKS LIKE

Depending on the engagement, Shopify Technical Leads in this talent pool typically work on:

• Leading the technical architecture and development of Shopify Plus storefronts across both B2B and B2C business models

• Building and maintaining custom Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript, and the Online Store 2.0 framework

• Developing and integrating Shopify apps and custom functionality using the Admin API, Storefront API, and GraphQL

• Configuring B2B specific features such as company accounts, custom price lists, and wholesale ordering flows

• Guiding and mentoring a small team of developers, reviewing code, and setting technical standards for Shopify projects

• Integrating Shopify with third party systems such as ERPs, PIMs, CRMs, and payment gateways

• Partnering with stakeholders across design, product, and marketing in multiple regions to align technical solutions with business goals

• Troubleshooting performance, scalability, and checkout or conversion issues across global storefronts

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

Must Have

• Availability to work US business hours (PST/EST)

• 5 to 8 years of hands on Shopify development experience, including Shopify Plus

• Strong command of Liquid, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Shopify theme architecture

• Experience building or integrating Shopify apps through the Admin API, Storefront API, or GraphQL

• Proven experience supporting both B2B and B2C storefronts on Shopify

• Experience leading or mentoring developers in a technical lead or senior capacity

Strong Advantage

• Experience with Shopify B2B, including the wholesale channel, company accounts, and custom pricing

• Experience supporting multiple markets or regions in a global Shopify rollout

• Background integrating Shopify with ERP, PIM, or CRM systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or HubSpot

• Experience with headless Shopify (Hydrogen or the Storefront API) or composable commerce

Nice to Have

• Shopify Plus Partner status or Shopify certification

• Experience with ecommerce performance optimization and Core Web Vitals

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version controlled theme deployment (GitHub, Shopify CLI)
