SHOPIFY WEB DEVELOPER – AI & E-COMMERCE

OVO LUXURY SIGNATURE is a fashion-tech powerhouse based in Dubai, focused on building and scaling luxury fashion brands through creative direction, advanced e-commerce solutions, and complete digital infrastructure.

We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented Shopify Web Developer with mandatory AI knowledge and practical AI-based experience to manage and elevate our online storefronts.

The ideal candidate combines strong Shopify development skills with the ability to use AI tools and software to improve development workflows, automate tasks, solve technical problems, and enhance digital experiences.

As our in-house Shopify Developer, you will develop, maintain, and optimize Shopify websites for OVO LUXURY SIGNATURE and selected client brands. You will work closely with our design, branding, and marketing teams to deliver high-performing, visually elegant, and conversion-focused online stores while integrating AI tools into appropriate development and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, customize, and maintain Shopify stores using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Customize Shopify themes and translate Figma or similar design mockups into responsive, functional websites.
• Integrate, configure, and maintain third-party Shopify apps, payment gateways, CRM systems, and other services.
• Optimize website speed, mobile responsiveness, user experience, SEO, and conversion performance.
• Identify practical opportunities to use AI for e-commerce development, content workflows, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate and implement suitable AI-powered tools, applications, and integrations where appropriate.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement reliable solutions promptly.
• Maintain website stability, backups, version control, and appropriate security practices.
• Monitor website performance and recommend continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with design and brand teams to maintain consistent luxury brand presentation across all online storefronts.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience developing and managing Shopify stores.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Mandatory: Practical knowledge and experience using AI tools, systems, or software.
• Ability to explain how AI has been used in previous projects, including the tools used, tasks completed, and results achieved.
• Familiarity with responsive design, mobile-first UX, SEO fundamentals, and e-commerce conversion best practices.
• Understanding of third-party integrations, APIs, and workflow automation is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, initiative, and time management.
• A portfolio demonstrating Shopify websites and relevant development projects.
