Short Drama Editor (SCRIPTWRITER)

We are looking for candidates who are fluent in English, deeply familiar with short drama trends in the Western market, and passionate about webnovel stories and vertical short dramas.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

• Script Writing: Write engaging and market-oriented episode scripts for short dramas.
• Content Editing & Proofreading: Proofread and edit English scripts to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, emotional clarity, and consistency with team standards.
• Creativity & Flexibility: Capture the inspiration and core charm of the original book and transfer it into a more eye-catching short drama. Using visual-like scenes and impactful dialogues to outstand main characters and make the plot dramatic.
• Script Adaptation Polishing & Basic Feedback: Review the original webnovels and provide clear, practical editorial feedback focused on adaptation of plot setting, twists, and storyline.
• Content Team Collaboration: Work closely with other editors and short drama team members on content strategy and special projects.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

• Bachelor’s degree or above (any field) would be preferred.
• Native or near-native English proficiency.
• Must have experience in writing scripts. Such as a film, TV drama script, or a theater/screen play. Both in English and Filipino are acceptable.
• Those with experience in directing, storyboarding, or social media will receive special consideration.
• Good sensitivity to language, narrative flow, and emotional tone
• Solid editing and proofreading skills with attention to details.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• MUST be based in the Philippines.

𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

Experience as a scriptwriter/screenwriter or script editor is a MUST.
