Short Drama Scriptwriter

About the role

Wave Literature, a subsidiary of WaveGame, is seeking writers and storytellers to develop scripts from novels and comics. You will read provided source material, understand characters, plot, genre, key moments, and conflicts, then utilize AI to convert these into short movie scripts. This role welcomes both amateurs and professionals, with training provided as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Develop story ideas and concepts for short drama content
• Write scripts, scenes, dialogue, and character interactions
• Adapt existing story concepts into short-form drama scripts
• Ensure each episode has a clear narrative flow and keeps the audience interested
• Work closely with video editors and the creative team to ensure the script can be effectively produced into video

About you

• Experience or strong interest in creative writing, storytelling, scriptwriting, content writing, novels, comics, web novels, or related fields
• Fluent English language skills (reading and speaking), as some content and working materials will be in English
• Strong understanding of storytelling, including character, conflict, dialogue, pacing, and plot development
• Able to create interesting and original story ideas
• Able to write natural and engaging dialogue
