Short-Form Content Editor

Job Summary:
We're excited to bring aboard a skilled Video Editor to produce engaging short-form video content, with a main focus on Instagram Reels. This role involves turning raw footage into polished, scroll-stopping content that fits a distinct brand style and the needs of several client accounts. The right person has solid short-form editing experience, adapts easily to different creative directions, and is comfortable picking up related digital marketing and social media tasks as needs change week to week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce short-form video content, mainly Instagram Reels
• Tailor editing style to match established brand aesthetics and creative direction
• Deliver finished, ready-to-post video files for review and approval
• Handle content across multiple client accounts with different styles and requirements
• Pitch in on additional social media and digital marketing tasks when video volume is lighter
• Help with copywriting, email content, or basic marketing support as needed
• Submit end-of-shift reports summarizing completed work
• Log time accurately using shared tracking tools
• Speed up turnaround on urgent video requests when required

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven background editing short-form video for Instagram Reels or similar platforms
• Proficiency with video editing software such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, or equivalent tools
• Strong grasp of pacing, hooks, captions, and trends in short-form video
• Ability to follow and recreate a defined brand style
• Trustworthy, precise, and comfortable working on your own
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Canva or other graphic design tools
• Copywriting or social media caption writing experience
• Familiarity with podcast or long-form audio/video editing
• Experience handling content for several clients or brands at once
• Understanding of Instagram growth and engagement best practices
• Ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time
