Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Short Form Editor to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting engaging, concise video content that captures viewers' attention and tells compelling stories in a limited timeframe. Your expertise in video editing, visual storytelling, and media production tools will be essential to producing high-quality short-form content across various platforms. Duties

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished short-form videos using industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro
• Apply color correction and grading techniques to enhance visual appeal and maintain consistent aesthetic standards across all content.
• Incorporate motion graphics, typography, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects to elevate storytelling impact.
• Manage media assets efficiently through FTP servers and content management systems, ensuring seamless workflow and version control.
• Collaborate with content creators, videographers, and graphic designers to develop innovative storytelling approaches that align with brand guidelines.
• Conduct audio and video processing tasks including sound editing, mixing, and synchronization to produce immersive viewing experiences.
• Ensure all videos meet technical specifications for various platforms while adhering to lighting, framing, and post-production standards.

Experience

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing short-form content across digital platforms.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Bridge.
• Familiarity with media editing tools such as Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, and Capture One for photo editing and manipulation.
• Knowledge of videography techniques including lighting for video production and filming best practices.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling principles combined with technical proficiency in color correction/editing and motion graphics.
• Experience working with content management systems (CMS), FTP workflows, and media asset organization.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards for both audio-visual elements and overall narrative coherence.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
