Short-Form Video Editing

We’re looking for a highly creative and skilled Video Editor who specializes in short-form video content and knows how to turn raw footage into engaging, high-retention videos.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with short reels, speed-ramp/speed-roll edits, talking-head videos, trending videos, promotional content, and social media-focused video editing.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other platforms.
• Work on talking-head videos, speed-ramp edits, trending videos, promotional reels, and creative short-form content.
• Create engaging edits with strong pacing, hooks, transitions, captions, B-roll, sound effects, and music.
• Adapt editing styles according to current social media trends and platform formats.
• Transform raw footage into polished, engaging, and visually compelling videos.
• Add motion graphics, text animations, transitions, color correction, and sound design where required.
• Repurpose existing footage into multiple short-form edits.
• Work closely with the creative and marketing team to execute video concepts and client requirements.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in video editing, particularly short-form content.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating Reels, talking-head videos, speed-ramp/speed-roll edits, and trending videos.
• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar editing software.
• Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, hooks, retention, transitions, sound design, and visual composition.
• Ability to understand and recreate current video trends and editing styles.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and handle multiple projects.

AI Skills — Plus Point

• Experience with AI video creation and AI-powered creative tools will be a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-generated video, text-to-video, image-to-video, AI voiceovers, AI avatars, and AI-assisted editing workflows is an advantage.
• Willingness to explore and incorporate emerging AI tools into the editing workflow is highly valued.
