About the Role

We’re looking for a talented Short-Form Video Editor who can transform long-form content into highly engaging, scroll-stopping videos.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify the strongest moments from podcasts, coaching calls, interviews, courses, webinars, and other long-form content, then turn them into compelling vertical videos optimized for today’s social media platforms.

The ideal candidate has a strong instinct for storytelling, audience retention, pacing, and hook creation, with the ability to recognize which moments will keep viewers watching.

Key ResponsibilitiesShort-Form Video Editing

• Review podcasts, interviews, coaching calls, webinars, live streams, and other long-form content
• Identify compelling hooks, memorable moments, and high-impact stories
• Edit engaging 60–90 second vertical videos for:
• Instagram Reels
• YouTube Shorts
• Facebook Reels
• TikTok
• Add captions, motion graphics, animations, zooms, transitions, and sound effects
• Optimize pacing, storytelling, and editing flow to maximize watch time and audience retention
• Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form content assets
• Adapt videos to suit the requirements of different social media platforms

Creative Collaboration

• Work closely with the content team to maintain consistent messaging and brand quality
• Recommend stronger hooks, titles, and creative approaches when appropriate
• Test new editing styles and retention techniques based on platform trends
• Incorporate feedback while maintaining the intended creative direction

RequirementsNon-Negotiable Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showcasing talking-head videos for personal brands
• 2+ years of experience editing short-form content for social media
• Proven ability to identify compelling moments from long-form content without detailed direction
• Strong understanding of audience retention, pacing, storytelling, and hook creation
• Excellent English comprehension
• Ability to work independently while consistently meeting deadlines
• Available to work 1:00 PM–9:00 PM Pacific Time

Must-Have Skills

• Strong editing skills for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels
• Excellent storytelling instincts and creative judgment
• Ability to create engaging captions, motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects
• Experience editing educational, coaching, business, motivational, or personal brand content
• Ability to balance speed with quality while maintaining consistent output
• Organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented

Nice to Have

• Experience working with creators, coaches, entrepreneurs, or personal brands
• Experience optimizing content for organic social media growth
• Familiarity with current short-form content trends and platform best practices
• Basic knowledge of thumbnail design and content strategy

• Create highly shareable content that contributes to organic audience growth
• Deliver polished edits on time while maintaining brand quality

Compensation

• ₱62,000 per month during the probationary period
• Up to ₱70,000 per month after successful completion of the 6-month probationary period, subject to satisfactory performance and positive feedback, plus applicable benefits and bonuses
• Up to ₱75,000 per month after completing 24 months with the company, subject to continued satisfactory performance, positive feedback, and achievement of agreed-upon scorecard metrics
