Video Editor – Social Media Content

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team. You will be responsible for editing videos for our social media and marketing campaigns.

You should know how to make videos interesting enough to stop people from scrolling. You should understand good editing, storytelling, music, sound effects, and the latest social media trends.

Most of your work will be short videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, including UGC, founder videos, and product videos.

What You’ll Do

• Edit raw footage into interesting videos with a clear story.
• Create strong opening hooks in the first few seconds to grab attention and keep people watching.
• Edit UGC and lifestyle videos while keeping them natural and real.
• Add captions, text animations, transitions, motion graphics, and other effects where needed.
• Select suitable music, voiceovers, and sound effects, and adjust audio levels.
• Create ASMR-style videos.
• Make product videos that clearly show product features and benefits without making them feel too much like advertisements.
• Follow the latest social media trends, viral videos, trending sounds, memes, and editing styles, and use them where suitable.
• Keep videos consistent with the brand’s colors, style, and overall look.
• Organize raw footage, project files, edited videos, and other files properly.
• Work with the creative and marketing team to understand campaign goals and edit videos accordingly.
• Complete projects on time and manage multiple videos without compromising quality.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years of professional video editing experience, preferably in social media content.
• A portfolio showing your video editing skills, especially short-form videos for social media.
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Experience with DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro is also welcome, provided you have strong motion graphics skills.
• Good understanding of video hooks, storytelling, editing pace, and audience retention.
• Good knowledge of sound design, music selection, audio mixing, and sound effects.
• Experience editing UGC and founder videos while keeping them natural and engaging.
• A good sense of visuals, transitions, text styles, motion graphics, and storytelling.
• Ability to work quickly, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Knowledge of current social media trends and the type of content that works well on different platforms.

Experience working with lifestyle or consumer brands will be a plus.

Location: Near Malir Cantt and Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Salary: Market-competitive salary based on experience, skills, and portfolio.

Work Mode: On-site

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
