Short Order Cook

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation as a short order cook. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing Breakfast and Lunch menus.

Duties:

• Prepare and cook meals according to the menu or recipes provided
• Ensure food quality meets the established standards
• Collaborate with the dietary department to meet special dietary needs
• Assist in menu planning and meal preparation
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or catering environment
• Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
• Familiarity with menu planning and food presentation
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
• Experience working with knives and kitchen equipment

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 28.0 per week
