Short-Term Rental Field Support

Overview
I’m looking for a reliable, detail-oriented contractor to support my short-term rental operations across South Lake Tahoe. This is an on-call/part-time role with flexible hours, ideal for someone who’s hands-on, trustworthy, and comfortable working independently. This role only requires 4-10 hour per week at the moment, but as trust, rapport, and operational momentum build, there is strong potential for this role to expand into additional hours and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Property checks: Pre-guest and post-guest inspections to ensure everything is in place, stocked, and working.
• Cleaning oversight: Verify cleaners’ work meets standards; flag issues and coordinate fixes.
• Errands: Restock supplies, pick up/drop off items, meet vendors, key exchanges, etc.
• Minor repairs: Basic handyman tasks like replacing air filters, lightbulbs, batteries, tightening hardware, patching small holes, fixing loose handles, re-caulking, unclogging drains, resetting Wi-Fi, troubleshooting basic appliances.
• Reporting: Document visits with photos/videos, quick checklists, and notes.

Qualifications

• Reliability and great communication (text/phone responsiveness)
• Smartphone for photos, video, and checklists
• Ability to handle stairs and lift up to ~30 lbs
• Clean driving record, valid license, insurance

Nice-to-haves

• Basic handyman skills and tools
• Experience in STRs, hospitality, or property management
• Comfort driving between locations; reliable vehicle
• Familiarity with Airbnb/VRBO standards and guest-ready checklists

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 10.0 per week
