Role & responsibilities

On Job Travel: 10 to 15 days / Month.

Relocation: Candidates must be willing to relocate to Pune/Delhi/Ahmedabad/ Any South locations

Job Description:

To provide after sales - engineering services support for the products and services offered to the customers of Timken. Working with customers design, production, maintenance and service staff. The service engineer helps the Timkens Company Endeavour to achieve Total Customer Satisfaction and thus maximize sales. The job holder is the first point for providing all kind of Technical/Servicing support for Timken products and services in the region. Wherever there is a technical problem related to the bearings & power transmission products or any services supplied by the Timken Company in India, the job holder is responsible for analyzing and rectifying the problem at the client site.

• Perform Bearing damage analysis (RCFA).

• Provide bearing installation support.

• Maintenance audit at customer location.

• Customer Technical training (hands on and class room).

• Promote Timken products through technical discussion, product seminars.

• Suggest modifications in the application to improve bearings life.

• Work with design, application, quality engineers etc. of Timken to help develop products/solutions for customers.

Skills required:

• Strong Mechanical Engineering concepts.

• Keen observation and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Ability to understand working principle of machines / Equipment. Knowledge of Rotating Equipment
