Show Choreographer

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and experienced Choreographer to join our Entertainment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, teaching, coordinating, and maintaining choreography for shows, parades, and special events while ensuring high-quality and engaging performances.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop original choreography for shows, parades, and special events.
• Ensure choreography aligns with the production theme, music, style, and entertainment standards.
• Lead dance rehearsals and effectively teach choreography to performers.
• Adapt choreography based on performers’ skill levels, venue space, and operational requirements.
• Monitor performances and provide feedback to maintain consistency in timing, energy, and technique.
• Revise and update choreography based on cast changes and show requirements.
• Participate in dance auditions and evaluate performers’ technical skills and movement quality.
• Maintain choreography documentation, rehearsal notes, and performance records.
• Collaborate with Entertainment Management and Production teams to ensure overall show quality.
• Ensure performers are prepared and ready for scheduled performances.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in choreography or live entertainment.
• Background in Dance, Performing Arts, Theatre, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of different dance techniques and styles.
• Excellent musicality, timing, rhythm, and stage awareness.
• Ability to create, teach, and adapt choreography.
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced entertainment environment.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and indoor/outdoor events as required.
• English proficiency is required; Arabic is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

Experience in theme parks, theatres, live events, entertainment productions, cruises, or similar environments is an advantage.

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
