We’re looking for a friendly, hardworking and enthusiastic Showroom Assistant to join our team at See Cars. This is a varied, hands-on role within a busy used car showroom. You’ll be involved in everything from preparing vehicles and welcoming customers to helping with collections, deliveries and keeping the showroom looking its best.

If you enjoy working with people, have an interest in cars and like keeping busy, this could be the role for you.

The Role:

As a Showroom Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming customers and providing a friendly, professional first impression
• Preparing vehicles for customer viewings and test drives
• Keeping vehicles clean, tidy and presented to a high standard
• Moving vehicles around the site and keeping stock organised
• Assisting with customer collections, handovers and test drives
• Taking photographs and videos of vehicles for our website and social media
• Assisting with vehicle deliveries and collections
• Keeping the showroom and customer areas clean, tidy and presentable
• Supporting the sales team with day-to-day tasks
• Helping with general jobs around the showroom and getting involved wherever needed
• Ensuring customers receive a friendly and positive experience throughout their visit

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and takes pride in what they do.

You’ll need to be:

• Friendly and confident when dealing with customers
• Well presented and professional
• Reliable and punctual
• Practical and happy working in a hands-on environment
• Organised and able to manage different tasks
• A good team player who is also comfortable using their own initiative
• Positive, enthusiastic and willing to learn
• Comfortable using a smartphone and basic computer systems
• Aged 25 or over due to our motor insurance requirements
• Hold a full UK driving licence

Previous experience in a dealership, showroom, customer service or similar role would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Full training will be provided for the right person. What matters most to us is your attitude, reliability and willingness to get stuck in.
