Working Hours: Tuesday–Friday, 10:00am- 4:00pm; Saturday, 10:00 am–2:00 pm

Timber Windows is a leading provider of beautifully crafted timber windows and doors, with a nationwide network of over 60 beautifully appointed showrooms. We offer homeowners a complete supply-and-installation service, combining traditional craftsmanship with sustainable practices and exceptional customer care. We’re now looking for a Showroom Assistant to join our team in the Marlborough Showroom, working with our award-winning, market-leading window and door products.

The showroom is easy to find, in the centre of town along its impressively wide High Street, between Jones Robinson Estate Agents and Fenella, ladies clothing shop and opposite the Town Hall.

The Role

As our Showroom Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for customers visiting or contacting our Marlbourough showroom.

As the first point of contact, you will help deliver an excellent customer experience, ensuring every visitor receives a warm welcome and a positive first impression of Timber Windows.

Alongside customer-facing responsibilities, you will support the smooth day-to-day running of the showroom by carrying out general administrative duties and maintaining the showroom to our high standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming customers and visitors to the showroom in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answering telephone calls and responding to customer enquiries.
• Providing general administrative support to the showroom team.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and presentable showroom environment.
• Ensuring the showroom consistently reflects the quality and professionalism of the Timber Windows brand.
• Supporting the team in delivering an excellent customer experience.

About You

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of brand image and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A strong customer-focused attitude, with the ability to create a positive experience for every visitor.
• A reliable, punctual and committed approach to work.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence using computers, with previous administrative experience being an advantage.

Previous experience in a showroom or customer-facing role would be beneficial. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
