Showroom Design Consultant

We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Showroom Design Consultant to join our Knoxfield showroom and help customers find the perfect flooring solution for their home or project.

What you’ll be doing

• Welcome and engage browsers and shoppers in our premium showroom
• Help them explore flooring styles, colours and finishes
• Build genuine relationships and provide personalised design advice
• Develop strong product knowledge across our extensive ranges
• Support the presentation and day-to-day running of the showroom
• Deliver an exceptional Karndean customer experience

We’re looking for someone who is passionate, authentic and motivated, with a natural ability to connect with people and an interest in interior design.

The hours:

Monday to Friday, 10am–3pm, with flexibility to swap a weekday for an occasional Saturday when required.

Who you are

• Experience in retail, consultancy or sales, ideally within interiors, homewares, building products or a similar environment
• A genuine passion for interior design, premium products and beautiful spaces
• A strong eye for style, trends and detail, with a creative spark and curiosity
• A natural ability to connect with people and build genuine customer relationships
• A commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience
• A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to take initiative
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Confidence using Computers (Microsoft Office and CRM systems; Dynamics 365 experience is desirable)
• Previous experience with luxury or premium brands is a bonus
• Flexibility to provide occasional cover for sick days, annual leave and additional hours when required
