Showroom Manager

Job Summary

Krishna Jewellers Pearls & Gems Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and results-driven Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our retail jewellery showroom at Kokapet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing showroom operations, and leading a high-performing team.

This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, sound business acumen, and a passion for retail and jewellery sales.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience

• Drive showroom sales by leading and motivating the team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a personalized shopping experience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value and repeat customers.
• Handle customer concerns, escalations, and service recovery professionally.
• Ensure the team possesses strong product knowledge and sales skills.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, supervise, train, and mentor showroom staff.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.
• Manage employee schedules, attendance, and task allocation.
• Foster a positive, customer-focused, and performance-driven work culture.

Store Operations & Inventory Management

• Oversee daily showroom operations and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with inventory teams to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Ensure proper inventory control, stock audits, and merchandise security.
• Maintain showroom presentation, cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure adherence to security and loss-prevention procedures.

Financial & Business Management

• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
• Analyze sales reports and implement action plans to achieve business goals.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and billing procedures.
• Support budgeting, expense control, and operational efficiency initiatives.

Marketing & Customer Engagement

• Support marketing campaigns, showroom events, and promotional activities.
• Encourage upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Provide market insights, customer feedback, and competitor information to management.
• Participate in local business development initiatives to increase showroom footfall.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in retail management, preferably in jewellery, luxury retail, fashion, or lifestyle segments.
• Strong leadership, team management, and people development skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Sound knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and sales processes.
• Proficiency in POS systems, MS Office, and inventory management software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of retail experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in jewellery retail or luxury retail will be an added advantage.

Working Conditions

• 6 days per week.
• 10 working hours per day.
• Availability to work on weekends, public holidays, and during festive seasons.
• May involve prolonged standing and active participation in showroom operations.
