Shift: Mid Shift (2:00PM-10:00PM)

Position Summary:

The Shrink Wrap Operator is responsible for operating shrink-wrapping equipment to package printed materials and other products for shipment. This position ensures products are properly wrapped, packaged, and prepared for distribution while maintaining quality standards, meeting production deadlines, and following all safety procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate shrink-wrapping machinery and packaging equipment to prepare products for shipment.
• Load, position, and organize printed materials and products for packaging.
• Inspect finished products and packaging to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain proper wrapping and packaging quality.
• Monitor equipment during operation and report malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Follow established production schedules and meet daily production goals.
• Assist with moving, stacking, and preparing packaged products for shipping.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operating instructions.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, or production experience preferred.
• Experience operating shrink-wrapping machinery is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn equipment operation and safety procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements as part of the packaging process.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required by the position, within established safety limits.
• Ability to safely operate production equipment after appropriate training.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a manufacturing and print production environment. The role may involve standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, and exposure to typical production floor noise and equipment.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
