Here at GXO Crick we are recruiting for a Shunter to join our team**.** If you are looking for a new challenge and the chance to join a company that will truly help you develop your career, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! As a Shunter, you’ll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 13:00 to 22:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Safely manoeuvre trailers and vehicles around the yard, using a shunter vehicle, ensuring smooth and efficient site operations
• Position trailers onto bays in readiness for loading and unloading, maintaining yard organisation at all times
• Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks, reporting any defects, damage, or wear and tear promptly
• Work closely with warehouse, transport, and site teams to ensure health & safety procedures and operational requirements are consistently met

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph cards
• No more than six penalty points on your licence (no TT, DD, DR, DG, BA, AC, LC or CD endorsements)
• Previous experience operating Terberg vehicle is desirable, but full training can be provided
