Altrad is looking for experienced Mechanical Supervisors with Cert 10 to join upcoming shutdowns across major mining and resources operations.

With works commencing from September, these FIFO opportunities from Perth offer the chance to work alongside experienced teams delivering critical mechanical maintenance scopes in fast-paced shutdown environments.

We’re looking for hands-on leaders who are confident managing crews, working closely with clients and keeping safety, quality and productivity on track from start to finish.

FIFO from Perth | Day & Night Shift | Shutdowns from September

Rope access experience or training is desirable but not essential.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading and coordinating crews to safely deliver planned shutdown scopes
• Setting clear expectations and driving strong team performance
• Maintaining a visible and proactive safety presence on site
• Conducting pre-starts, risk assessments and job hazard analyses
• Monitoring productivity, quality and progress against planned works
• Working closely with client representatives and project stakeholders
• Identifying and managing safety, quality and operational risks
• Ensuring site documentation, inspections and reporting are completed
• Supporting and mentoring team members to achieve successful outcomes

About you

We’re looking for experienced Mechanical Supervisors who are confident leading crews in mining, resources or heavy industrial environments and can hit the ground running in a shutdown setting.

To be successful, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within mining, resources or heavy industry
• Cert 10 / NACE Coating Inspector qualification – required
• Demonstrated experience leading mechanical maintenance crews during shutdowns or major maintenance campaigns
• Completed Statutory 26 Supervisor units of competency – no DMIRS exam required
• Strong understanding of safe work practices, site procedures and shutdown execution
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage crews in high-pressure environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach to safety, quality and productivity
• Ability to work FIFO from Perth on day and night shift
• Rope access experience or training highly desirable, but not essential
• Previous experience on major mining operations and shutdown campaigns highly regarded
