We are seeking skilled and motivated Shuttering Joiners / Formwork Carpenters to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling formwork structures that shape concrete during building projects. Duties

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to accurately construct formwork structures.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install formwork components using hand tools and power tools with precision.
• Ensure formwork is properly aligned, levelled, and secured to withstand concrete pouring processes.
• Collaborate with team members to plan daily tasks and coordinate the installation of formwork systems efficiently.
• Dismantle formwork after concrete has set, ensuring safe removal without damaging structures or materials.
• Conduct inspections of formwork for safety compliance, structural integrity, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Operate heavy lifting equipment when necessary for moving large formwork panels or materials around the site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Shuttering Joiner or Formwork Carpenter in commercial or residential construction projects.
• Proficiency with hand tools.

Pay: £25.00-£26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 per week
