Job Description

Avani Cypress Lakes Resort is seeking a friendly, professional and customer-focused Shuttle Bus Driver to join our team on a casual basis.

This role combines guest transport with concierge-style service, ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless experience throughout their stay. Operating the resort shuttle service, you'll provide regular pick-ups and drop-offs across the property while also supporting the Front Office team with guest enquiries, luggage assistance and local recommendations between shuttle runs.

About the Role

As the first and last point of contact for many of our guests, you'll play an important role in creating memorable experiences and delivering outstanding hospitality.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating the resort shuttle service safely and efficiently, ensuring guests are collected and dropped off on schedule.
• Welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assisting with luggage handling, transport and storage.
• Providing information about the resort, local attractions and the Hunter Valley region.
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the shuttle.
• Communicating guest movements, special requests and VIP arrivals with relevant departments.
• Supporting Front Office and Concierge operations between shuttle services.
• Assisting with guest enquiries and helping resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Maintaining high standards of personal presentation and customer service.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current and unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
• A genuine passion for customer service and hospitality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly, professional and well-presented approach.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently while remaining part of a wider team.
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Previous experience in hospitality, transport, concierge or customer service will be highly regarded.
