Shuttle Driver

Job Summary
Chicago Marriott Northwest is seeking a professional, dependable, and guest-focused Shuttle Driver to provide safe and courteous transportation for hotel guests. The Shuttle Driver will transport guests to and from designated locations, assist with luggage when needed, maintain the cleanliness and safety of the hotel shuttle, and provide excellent customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport hotel guests to and from designated locations.
• Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to all guests.
• Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage when needed.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and hotel transportation procedures.
• Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the shuttle vehicle.
• Report vehicle maintenance concerns, damage, accidents, or safety issues immediately.
• Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the shuttle.
• Coordinate with the Front Desk and hotel management regarding guest pickups, drop-offs, and schedule changes.
• Maintain shuttle logs or transportation records when required.
• Provide guests with basic information about the hotel and surrounding area when requested.
• Follow hotel policies regarding guest safety, privacy, and security.
• Perform additional transportation or guest-service duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• Valid People’s Permit required.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Previous professional passenger-driving, shuttle, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to work independently and follow transportation schedules.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in traffic, weather delays, and unexpected situations.

Schedule

• Flexible availability required.
• Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on hotel business needs.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
• Ability to enter and exit the shuttle repeatedly during a shift.
• Ability to assist guests with luggage and belongings.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
