shuttle driver (night shift)

Job Title: Shuttle Driver

Shift: Full-Time | Monday–Friday: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM | Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (as needed)

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Shuttle Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will transport finished goods to an off-site local facility located less than 5 miles away and return with empty trailers or transfers for the production warehouse. The ideal candidate maintains a professional, respectful attitude toward warehouse staff and works efficiently to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods safely between the main facility and a local destination (<5 miles).
• Haul empty trailers, pallets, and transfer materials back to the production warehouse in a timely manner.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with warehouse team members and shipping/receiving leads.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, facility safety protocols, and company policies.
• Complete daily transport logs, bills of lading, and associated paperwork as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 1–3 years of professional driving or shuttle transport experience.
• License: Valid CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Safety First: Proven commitment to safe driving practices and warehouse safety rules.
• Professionalism: Strong interpersonal skills with a respectful, collaborative attitude toward facility staff.
• Dependability: Punctual and able to work the required night shift and mandatory weekend hours when scheduled.

Work Schedule & Availability

• Standard Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Must be available to work Saturdays from 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM as business needs dictate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
