SIA Door Supervisor

We are a premier SIA-security contractor operating across Lancashire. We pride ourselves on providing high-standard, professional security solutions to late-night venues, pubs, bars, and community events across Morecambe, Garstang, and Lancaster.

We are currently expanding our team and looking for reliable, professional, and customer-focused Door Supervisors to represent our brand and ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for staff and patrons alike.

• Access Control: Manage venue entry points, verify customer IDs, monitor capacity, and conduct bag/pat-down searches when required.
• Crowd Safety & Monitoring: Maintain a strong, approachable visual presence inside and outside the venue to deter anti-social behavior.
• De-escalation: Handle conflict calmly and professionally, prioritizing verbal de-escalation tactics before physical intervention.
• Customer Service: Act as a welcoming front-of-house representative for our client venues, assisting guests with queries and direction.
• Incident Management: Respond quickly and effectively to disturbances, administer basic first aid if necessary, and liaise with emergency services/local authorities when needed.
• Reporting: Log incidents accurately in venue incident books and maintain professional communication via two-way radios.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Essential: Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Essential: Right to work in the UK.
• Essential: Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Desirable: Valid First Aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid certificate (assistance in acquiring can be provided).
• Flexibility: Ability to work unsociable hours, specifically Friday and Saturday nights.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel between venues in the Morecambe and Garstang areas (access to reliable personal transport is highly advantageous).
