Sidewinder operator

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused professional to operate and maintain sidewinder equipment in support of daily field or production operations. The ideal candidate is attentive to detail, committed to safe work practices, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication skills, mechanical awareness, and a willingness to follow established procedures to ensure quality, productivity, and operational safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate sidewinder equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety standards
• Perform pre-operation inspections and routine checks to ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments during operations
• Maintain accurate records of equipment use, inspections, and any maintenance issues
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and support personnel
• Follow all site-specific safety, environmental, and operational guidelines
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, hazards, or unsafe conditions promptly
• Assist with general operational tasks as needed to support workflow and productivity
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Participate in training and continuous improvement efforts as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience operating sidewinder equipment or similar machinery preferred
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and stay focused on task completion
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in varying conditions and perform physically demanding tasks when needed
• Reliable attendance and a strong sense of accountability

Pay

$17-$18/hr to start plus weekly production bonus
