Duties

• Measure, cut, and install various siding materials including vinyl, fiber cement, and metal siding according to project specifications and technical drawings
• Install windows securely, ensuring proper sealing, caulking, and insulation for optimal performance
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely to complete installations efficiently
• Follow construction plans meticulously while interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Adhere strictly to construction safety regulations, including the use of safety harnesses, proper ladder use, and other personal protective equipment
• Perform roofing repairs as needed, including single-ply membrane roofing and metal roofing applications
• Conduct masonry work such as stucco or concrete forming when required for restoration or remodeling projects
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks and ensure all work complies with construction site safety protocols
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high quality standards

Requirements

• Proven construction experience with a focus on siding installation, window fitting, roofing repair, or related trades
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes and reading construction plans or technical drawings
• Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations including the use of safety harnesses and proper ladder techniques
• Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, masonry equipment, and roofing materials such as metal roofing or single-ply membrane roofing
• Experience in outdoor work environments across various weather conditions
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling or installation tasks
• Strong understanding of caulking techniques, stucco application, tile laying, metal stud framing, or masonry work is a plus
• Handyman experience or remodeling background is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions clearly
• Valid driver’s license preferred; willingness to learn new skills related to construction safety protocols

Pay: $25.82 - $31.10 per hour
