Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install various siding materials including vinyl, fiber cement, metal, and stucco according to project specifications and blueprints
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation aligned with design intent
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to complete siding projects
• Follow all construction safety regulations, including proper use of safety harnesses and ladder safety protocols during elevated work
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and framing before siding installation to ensure a secure fit
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks such as roofing repair or framing when needed for project completion
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining proper ergonomics and safety procedures
• Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to meet industry standards and client expectations

Qualifications

• Proven construction experience with a focus on siding installation or related exterior finishing work
• Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of safety harnesses, ladders, scaffolding, and fall protection equipment
• Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and fabrication techniques for precise siding work
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Experience with roofing repair, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing or stucco is a plus
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and reading construction plans or blueprints
• Outdoor work experience in varying weather conditions with an emphasis on safety protocol adherence
• Additional skills such as drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry, welding or remodeling are advantageous but not mandatory
