Siding Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Siding Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing various types of exterior siding materials on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties

• Measure and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to determine siding installation requirements.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary materials to ensure proper siding adhesion.
• Install different siding materials including vinyl, fiber cement, metal, stucco, and other exterior cladding products with precision.
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely to cut, shape, and secure siding panels according to specifications.
• Follow all construction safety regulations such as harness use, ladder safety protocols, and site safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
• Perform roofing repairs or assist with roofing projects involving single-ply membrane roofing or metal roofing when needed.
• Collaborate with team members to interpret blueprints and technical schematics for accurate installation; read construction plans thoroughly.
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site; ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use.
• Assist in restoration or remodeling projects that may involve drywall, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry or plumbing tasks as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in siding installation or related construction fields such as roofing, carpentry, or remodeling.
• Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations including harnesses, ladder use, and general site safety protocols.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently in outdoor environments.
• Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocol adherence.
• Skills in roofing repair or metal roofing installation are a plus; knowledge of single-ply membrane roofing is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Valid experience in drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, tile laying or masonry is advantageous.
