Siding Installer

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Siding Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing exterior siding on multi family residential and commercial buildings. Working with Fibre Cement, ACM and other metal cladding. TSA provides all tools and equipment for the job along with company health benefits and a steady schedule through winter.

Responsibilities

• Measure and interpret blueprints to determine siding specifications and layout
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, and applying necessary caulking to ensure proper adhesion
• Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and saws to cut, shape, and install siding materials accurately
• Lift heavy siding panels safely and efficiently to position them on structures without damage
• Install various types of siding including, wood, fiber cement, or composite materials according to project plans
• Seal joints and edges with caulking to prevent water infiltration and improve insulation
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed to meet safety standards and client expectations

Experience

• Proven construction experience with a focus on exterior finishing or siding installation preferred
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools common in carpentry and siding work
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, or installation instructions confidently
• Prior handyman experience or general carpentry skills are highly advantageous
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of caulking techniques to ensure weather-tight seals on installed siding materials

Requirements

• Reliable Vehicle to get to/from job site across Calgary (Must Have)
• Basic PPE - Hard Hat, Safety Eyewear, Steel Toed boots
• Fall Protection ( can provide training if required)
• Aerial Work Platform Certificate ( Preffered)
• Experience installing Jame Hardie, ACM, Metal Cladding

Wages adjusted based on experience and skills with materials

Pay: $30.00-$39.00 per hour
