Duties

• Measure, cut, and install different siding materials such as vinyl, metal, or fiber cement according to project specifications and blueprints
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to execute precise siding installations
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, or repairing existing structures to ensure proper siding adhesion
• Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Conduct inspections during and after installation to ensure siding is securely attached and visually aligned with design standards
• Follow all construction safety regulations including the use of safety harnesses, proper ladder use, and heavy lifting techniques

Requirements

• Proven construction experience with a focus on siding installation or related exterior building work
• Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings
• Familiarity with various siding materials such as vinyl, metal roofing, stucco, drywall, or fiber cement products
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment safely and efficiently
• Experience with roofing repair, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing or restoration projects is a plus
• Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations including the use of safety harnesses and ladder safety practices
• Outdoor work experience in diverse weather conditions with physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing
• Additional skills in carpentry (trim carpentry, framing), masonry, welding or remodeling are advantageous
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions and work collaboratively within a team

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

• Residential construction: 2 years (Preferred)
