Sign Assembly Technician

Position Summary Fusion Sign & Design LLC is an industry leading electrical signage manufacturer/contractor. You will work with low voltage electricity in the assembly of commercial signs. This position will work in conjunction with the production team.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
• Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Soldering, led assembly, wiring, and packaging.
• Positions or aligns components and parts, either manually or with a hoist.
• Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
• Understand and comply with UL rules pertaining to the job being worked on.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (minimum Qualifications)

• Starting at 6 months experience working in a manufacturing environment desired, but not necessary.
• Ability to use basic power and hand tools and general shop equipment.
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Be able to meet production demands.
• Be able to work independently.
• Be dependable, report to work on time, willing to work overtime when required.
• Be able to read and understand Shop Travelers and follow verbal instructions.
