Sign Maker

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sign Maker to join our creative team! In this role, you will bring visual concepts to life by designing, fabricating, and installing high-quality signage that captures attention and communicates effectively. Your expertise in sign manufacturing, graphic design, digital art, fabrication and painting will be essential in producing impactful signs for a variety of clients and projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine artistic talent with technical proficiency to create visually compelling signage that elevates brand presence and enhances customer experiences.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand signage requirements, branding guidelines, and project goals
• Design eye-catching signs using graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Figma, and Adobe InDesign
• Prepare detailed design files optimized for print production and digital display, ensuring color accuracy and resolution standards are met
• Fabricate signs using various materials including vinyl, acrylic, metal, and wood with precision craftsmanship
• Operate sign-making equipment such as plotters, CNC routers, laser cutters, and digital printers to produce high-quality signage
• Install finished signs safely on-site, ensuring proper alignment, stability, and adherence to safety standards
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards of visual appeal and durability

Requirements

• Proven experience in manufacturing, graphic design, or related visual arts fields with a strong portfolio of completed projects, preferably in the sign industry.
• Proficiency in graphic design and manufacturing software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), VCarve, Flexi and others.
• Technical skills in sign fabrication techniques such as CNC operation, assembly, vinyl cutting, digital printing, paintbooth, and welding
• Ability to operate sign-making machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Self-motivated team player with great interpersonal skills and values delivering excellence.
• Ability to work both independently and in a fast-paced team environment with coworkers, customers and subcontractors.
• Ability to multitask, managing multiple production jobs concurrently.
• Able to lift 25 pounds
• Willing and able to assist with installation of light signage and vinyl application requirements.

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:

• Sign Making or related fabrication: 1 year (Preferred)
• Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred)
