Sign Maker/Storeman

About the role

As a Sign Maker/Storeman at Highway1 Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in the production and storage of high-quality signage and roading products for our clients. This full-time position is based in Waltham Canterbury, where you will be responsible for warehousing duties, dispatching orders and sign making.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricating and assembling a variety of signs, including road signs, specialty signs and a range of other products
• Operating specialist equipment such as digital printers, CNC routers, and vinyl cutters to produce signage
• Maintaining an organised and well-stocked inventory of sign materials and supplies
• Ensuring the safe storage and handling of all sign-making equipment and materials
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean, safe work environment

About you

• Experience in a sign-making or similar manufacturing role, including CNC operation would be an advantage
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in using a range of sign-making equipment and tools
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities
• A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
• A current forklift licence
