Why 3FM?

3FM is a signage manufacturing, installation, and design company serving commercial, industrial, and construction clients across a wide range of projects. Our installation team works on everything from individual sign installations to large, multi-phase programs involving thousands of signs across complex facilities and campuses.

As a Signage Installer, you’ll work closely with project managers and field leadership who understand the realities of installation work. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in seeing finished work come together, enjoys working in changing environments, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

A significant portion of our work supports large-scale data center and infrastructure projects, where safety, accuracy, coordination, and reliability are critical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install architectural, ADA, wayfinding, identification, and other signage in commercial and industrial environments
  • Maintain a productive pace while completing assigned work accurately and safely
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, signage plans, installation details, and project documentation
  • Follow established safety procedures, site requirements, and project-specific installation standards
  • Use laptops, tablets, and mobile devices to document progress and update project status
  • Coordinate effectively with supervisors, project managers, subcontractors, and other trades
  • Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other installation equipment safely
  • Prepare installation areas, verify sign locations, and ensure completed work meets project requirements
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
  • Travel to project locations as needed, including occasional out-of-state travel

Skills and Qualifications

  • Comfortable using common hand and power tools, including drills, saws, levels, and related installation equipment
  • Ability to read measurements and follow detailed installation instructions
  • Comfortable working from ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and elevated work areas
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
  • Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs. independently, with assistance for heavier or oversized items
  • Willingness to learn signage installation methods, materials, and equipment
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
  • Basic technology skills and comfort using tablets, laptops, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  • Dependable, accountable, and able to adapt to changing project conditions

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass required drug screening
  • Ability to pass required background screening
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time, including occasional overnight or out-of-state travel

Ideal Candidates Will Also Possess

  • Demonstrated reliability and consistency in a field or construction environment

Benefits

  • Paid time off

  • Per diem for qualifying travel
