JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled Signage Printing Production Engineer to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain digital printing, laser printing/cutting, and related production equipment used in signage manufacturing.

The role will be responsible for print-file preparation, machine setup and calibration, production execution, quality control, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure signage is produced accurately, efficiently, and to required specifications.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in a signage, large-format printing, digital printing, fabrication, or manufacturing environment, with strong technical knowledge of printing equipment, materials, file preparation, and production workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and monitor large-format digital printers, UV printers, laser printers/cutters, and related signage production equipment.
• Prepare, check, and optimize production files using CAD, RIP, Adobe, or relevant design/prepress software.
• Set up machines, load appropriate media, configure print parameters, and perform calibration and color/print-quality adjustments.
• Troubleshoot machine, print-quality, alignment, material, and production issues to minimize downtime and waste.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished signage meets approved artwork, dimensions, color, material, and client specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, consumable replacement, and basic equipment servicing in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Project Management, and Installation teams to ensure smooth execution of signage projects.
• Monitor material usage, consumables, production waste, and inventory requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records, machine logs, maintenance reports, and quality-control documentation.
• Follow all applicable HSE, machine-safety, production, and operational procedures.
• Support machine commissioning, testing, and operator training when new equipment is introduced.
• Identify opportunities to improve print quality, production efficiency, machine utilization, material yield, and turnaround time.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology, Mechanical Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• Technical certification in printing equipment, digital production, or machine operation is an advantage..

Experience:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in signage printing, large-format digital printing, commercial printing, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Practical experience operating and troubleshooting industrial digital/UV printers and laser printing or cutting systems.
• Experience in signage manufacturing, OOH advertising, fabrication, LED/signage production, or large-format printing will be strongly preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of large-format, UV, digital, and laser printing technologies.
• Experience with RIP software, prepress workflows, CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent production software.
• Understanding of printing substrates, inks, media, color management, resolution, finishing, and print specifications.
• Ability to read technical drawings, production specifications, dimensions, and artwork files.
• Strong machine troubleshooting, calibration, and preventive-maintenance capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production documentation/reporting.
