Guangdong Intercity O&M Sdn Bhd is the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) provider for the **West Section of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL)**​ — Malaysia's flagship 665 km rail infrastructure connecting Port Klang to Kelantan. As ECRL moves toward its 2027 operational launch, our team plays a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness of this nation-building project.

Key Responsibilities Requirements

1. Under the guidance of an assigned mentor, assist with inspections of signalling equipment, document checks and maintenance preparation.
2. Assist with basic measurements, equipment labelling, checking tools and materials, and organising maintenance records.
3. Participate in training on signalling equipment maintenance, fault handling and railway safety.

Requirements

1. Currently pursuing a Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Railway Signalling and Communications, Electronic Control/Automation, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation and Control or a related field, with expected graduation in 2027. An official internship confirmation letter from the institution is required.
2. Able to complete a continuous internship of 3-6 months.
3. Proactive and willing to learn, with the ability to follow site instructions and supervision.
4. Preferably at least 18 years old and able to participate in practical learning at worksites and along the railway alignment.
