Aerospace Circuit Simulation & Wiring Harness Design Engineer (AM Level)

About the Role

We are looking for experienced professionals with strong hands-on expertise in Circuit Simulation, Aerospace Electrical Wiring Harness Design, and Wiring Harness Simulation.

The primary focus of this role is Circuit Simulation for aerospace electrical systems. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing, validating, and simulating aerospace electrical circuits and wiring harnesses used in aircraft and defense products.

Candidates should have worked specifically on aerospace electrical systems and should possess practical experience in electrical circuit simulation, wiring harness design, and electrical validation.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop aerospace electrical wiring harnesses and routing architectures.

Create electrical schematics, harness routing, packaging, and manufacturing documentation.

Perform Circuit Simulation, Current Simulation, and Wiring Harness Simulation using industry-standard software.

Analyze electrical circuits, power distribution systems, and electrical interconnects to ensure proper functionality.

Perform EMI/EMC analysis and validation to ensure electrical systems operate without interference.

Support electrical system integration for aerospace and defense applications.

Work closely with Electrical, EMC, Manufacturing, System Engineering, and Validation teams.

Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, drawings, simulation reports, and engineering release packages.

Troubleshoot and resolve wiring harness and electrical circuit-related engineering issues.

Ensure designs meet aerospace quality, reliability, safety, and manufacturability requirements.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Candidates must have hands-on experience in:

Aerospace Wiring Harness Design & Development

Circuit Simulation (Mandatory)

Wiring Harness Simulation / Analysis

Aerospace Electrical Systems

Electrical Schematics

Harness Routing & Packaging

Electrical Integration & Validation

EMI / EMC Testing or Analysis

Mandatory Technical Expertise

Candidates should have experience in:

Circuit and current simulation methodologies in Electrical and EMC domains.

Circuit Simulation using PSpice (Highly Preferred / Mandatory) or similar tools.

Working knowledge of at least one simulation tool such as:

o PSpice

o SABER RD

o Abaqus

o FloTHERM

o Ansys Mechanical

o Equivalent Electrical Simulation Software

Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles related to aerospace or defense wire harness systems.

Understanding of aerospace electrical architecture, electrical interconnection systems, and power distribution.

Knowledge of aerospace testing, validation, certification standards, and compliance requirements.
