[SIN] Head of Preconstruction - Data Center

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity to lead the front-end development of large-scale digital infrastructure projects across the region. This role will be responsible for identifying and originating new sites, driving due diligence activities, assessing project feasibility, and managing the overall pre-construction strategy from land acquisition through to project handover into construction. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to support ambitious expansion plans and future capacity growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead site identification, land origination and acquisition activities for new developments.
• Drive technical, commercial and operational due diligence on prospective sites.
• Assess project feasibility, risks, infrastructure availability and development potential.
• Manage pre-development planning and coordinate with engineering, project and operational teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, partners and consultants.
• Support business development initiatives related to expansion opportunities.
• Ensure projects are positioned for successful transition into the construction phase.
• Provide strategic recommendations on market opportunities and growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Real Estate, Construction, Project Management or related discipline.
• Proven experience in site acquisition, land development or pre-construction within data centres or related infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of due diligence, permitting, utility assessments and project feasibility.
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Commercially astute with strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Ability to operate strategically in a fast-growing and evolving environment.
• Regional experience across Asia Pacific is highly advantageous.
