SIT Manual Tester

About the role

The SIT Manual Tester is responsible for validating the end-to-end functionality of integrated systems to ensure that all modules, applications, and interfaces work seamlessly together. This role focuses on executing manual test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring system stability in a System Integration Testing (SIT) environment.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with the ITG Quality Framework established by Test Admin group
• Review and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and system design documents
• Prepare and execute SIT test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts
• Perform manual testing of integrated applications and systems
• Validate data flow, system interfaces, APIs, and end-to-end processes
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM)
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to resolve issues
• Perform regression testing to ensure changes do not impact existing functionality
• Validate system behavior across different environments (QA, SIT, UAT)
• Prepare test reports, status updates, and defect summaries

About you

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related/relevant fields
• Understanding of the testing process according to SDLC
• At least 4 to 8 years' experience in testing delivery of Digital Banking projects
• Experience in Digital Banking with creation and execution of test cases for web application and mobile application
• Advanced knowledge on iOS testing and understanding of iOS ecosystem
• Familiarity with iPhone models, iOS versions and Apple Store
• Knowledge with Apple Pay and Apple Wallet
• Knowledge on testing tools Jira for Requirements and Defect Management and Xray for Test Management or similar platforms
• API testing using Postman
• Strong communication skills for reporting Test Status and Metrics
